The 4th Annual Columbia County Benefit Breakfast
CASA’s 4th Annual Columbia County Benefit Breakfast raised over $11,000 for CASA’s mission of advocating for Columbia County’s most vulnerable foster youth. Generous community members, partners, and foundations helped to make this year’s event a great success!
All funds raised at the event directly support CASA’s work in Columbia County; funding will go towards the recruitment, training, and support of CASA volunteers to serve more local children in foster care. Since expanding services into Columbia County in 2015, CASA for Children has more than tripled the annual number of children served by a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).
CareOregon was Presenting Sponsor for the breakfast held on Tuesday, June 13 at Meriwether Place in St. Helens. NW Natural presented a Challenge Match of $5,000 at the breakfast, in support of CASA’s work, and to motivate guests to make their most generous gift to CASA for Children.
Inspirational speakers included Columbia County Commissioner Henry Heimuller, the Honorable Judge Cathleen Callahan of the Columbia County Circuit Courts, Columbia County CASA volunteer Linda Rusch, Mary Moerlins of NW Natural.
