CASA's 29th Annual Auction Update
To CASA for Children supporters,
CASA's Board of Directors, after much internal discussion, and an overarching commitment to the health and wellness of our staff, clients, volunteers, and guests, has made the difficult decision to postpone our April 3rd Annual Auction out, by about 60 days, to Friday, May 29, 2020 at the Portland Art Museum. We want to acknowledge the unanticipated and extraordinary circumstances presented by the current Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak and the very real fears associated with this public health event.
We are committed to the health and wellness of our guests, staff, clients, volunteers and community. This decision has been made in an effort to best prioritize this commitment.
It is our sincere hope that you will be able to join us on this new date to continue the tradition of celebration and philanthropy in support of CASA’s work for our community’s foster youth that have made this gala a beloved and long-standing event on Portland’s social calendar.
If you are not able to attend on May 29th, please contact Anne Marie Johnson, Director of Development and Communications for CASA, at 503-988-4170 or firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to refund your purchase.
In the coming days and weeks CASA for Children will be sending updated information to all stakeholders about this decision; updates to our auction website are forthcoming. It is our goal to reach out to all confirmed sponsors, table hosts and ticket holders to provide you with the information you need to prepare for our May 29th event. If you have immediate questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com and we will endeavor to respond within 24 hours.
These are challenging times, and now more than ever, we need to harness the power of community and philanthropy to make real change in the lives of our most vulnerable population: the children in foster care who remain waiting for the hope that a CASA can bring them.
Thank you for your ongoing support of CASA for Children.
